NCW- One of the worse fire seasons in years, the rain  that fell the last few days has helped fire control.  Gov. Chris Gregoire lifted the burn ban in western Washington, and will decide whether to lift the ban for eastern Washington.  Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest is also considering allowing campfires.   The rain helped but in Okanogan County rain was very limited.   The map shows burnt areas in NCW.
