(East Wenatchee, WA) A person arrested for attempted murder in a 1996 Douglas County investigation was arrested in Stevens County for an outstanding warrant stemming from the case. On 11/25/96 Douglas County Deputies investigated a case in which John Perry Clark had shot a male victim with a pistol which fired a .410 shotgun shell. The incident occurred in the City of Waterville.
The victim survived and the suspect was captured at the scene. He ultimately pled guilty to assault in the 2nd degree. On April 13th, 2012 a warrant was issued because Clark and not complied with the conditions of his probation. On 08/07/12 he was arrested by the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Chelan County Jail where he is being held.
