Bomb threat forces local court houses to evacuate

(North Central Washington) Both the Chelan County Courthouse in Wenatchee and Douglas County Courthouse in Waterville were evacuated Thursday afternoon. The Douglas County Commissioner’s office received a telephone bomb threat at 3:52 PM according to Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal. Deputies continued to search the courthouse and as of now have been unsuccessful in locating any bomb at either location. According to King 5 TV Adams, Benton, and Thurston Court houses have also been evacuated.
