Janet Jaspers, Energy Trading and Planning manager, told PUD commissioners Monday the water content of the snowpack at Lyman Lake and Park Creek Ridge was near average and the Rainy Pass measurements were below average.
Near-average runoff makes it likely (90 percent probability) that the level of Lake Chelan will be favorable for summer recreation.
In other business Monday, commissioners:
- Changed the schedule for information meetings on the water and wastewater rate proposal; canceling the April 16 meeting in Leavenworth and asking staff to look into a Saturday meeting on April 27 in Leavenworth instead. A meeting in Wenatchee is still set for 5:30 p.m. on April 24 in the PUD Headquarters Auditorium. Staff will provide an update on the rate proposal at the April 15 regular commission meeting.
- Set a special meeting for 1 p.m. on April 16 in the Wenatchee Headquarters boardroom with Chelan County and Port of Chelan County commissioners.
