(Lake Chelan, WA) Echo Ridge Summer Trails on the Chelan Ranger District provide an ideal setting for mountain biking and trail running enthusiasts with over 25 miles of rolling trails with great views of Lake Chelan.
There are three upcoming spring events planned at the Echo Ridge Summer Trail System on the Chelan Ranger District
- May 12-Echo Valley Rally, Mountain Bike Race
- June 9- Echo Valley 30/60 Endurance Mountain Bike Race
- June 16- Echo Valley Trail Run
Echo Valley Rally is the newest bike race to the spring events at Echo Ridge. Last year the 30/60 Endurance Bike Race sold out with just over 200 riders, and the Echo Valley Trail Run had a great turn out for the various distance events including 10 K, Half Marathon, 50K and 50 Mile races.
The trail system will be busy during these events but all trails will remain available to the public on race days. Maps will be posted at all trailheads highlighting the race routes so hikers and bikers can identify non race route that will have fewer trail users. However race routes are still open for public use. There are no fees or passes needed for trail use or parking at Echo Ridge trailheads during the summer season.
Trail users should always travel cautiously on multiple use trails especially during these events when trail use is high.
