– POISON CANYON Effective 8:00pm today (September 22, 2012), the Chelan County Sheriff's Office is reducing the evacuation level for Sky Meadows Road, Brisky Canyon Road including Foltz Lane and Corrigan Road, and the Camas Meadows area to a Level1. The threat from the Poison Canyon Fire has abated sufficiently to allow authorities to lower the evacuation level. Residents of these areas are still encouraged to remain informed on fire activity, but there is no imminent danger at this time. At shift's end today fire managers anticipate having a “black line”, that is fuels either burned or removed, around the entire perimeter of the blaze. The less-active portions have already begun the mop up phase and that is expected to extend to additional areas over the next several days.The Level 2 notices for Mission Creek and Tripp Canyon remain in effect.- EVACUATION LEVEL DEFINITIONSEvacuation Levels 1, 2, and 3 are akin to a “Ready, Set, Go” level of preparedness with Level 1 asking…
