Air Quality in the Wenatchee remains high. 

Wenatchee Complex (9 fires), Okanogan/Wenatchee NF. IMT 1 (Pendleton). Two miles west of Wenatchee, WA. Timber, brush and grass. Active fire behavior. Numerous residences threatened. Evacuations in effect.

Table Mountain (4 fires), Okanogan/Wenatchee NF. IMT 2 (Reed). Sixteen miles east of Cle Elum, WA. Timber, logging slash, brush and grass. Active fire behavior with long-range spotting. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations in effect.

Okanogan Complex (4 fires), Okanogan/Wenatchee NF. IMT 2 (Williams). Eight miles southeast of Carlton, WA. Timber. Active fire behavior with group tree torching and short-range spotting. Structures and communication sites threatened. Evacuations in effect.

Wenatchee-On September 17, a firefighter died while working on the Wenatchee Complex near Wenatchee, WA. The firefighting community extends its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Northwest Area (PL 4)
