(Wenatchee, WA) Former Wenatchee Wild goaltender Brandon Jaeger was recently honored as the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointers Rookie of the Year at the team’s annual banquet.
Jaeger saw action in 16 games for the Pointers in 2011-12, including 14 starts. He owned a 7-4-2 record with a goals-against average of 2.10 and a save percentage of .920 in 826 minutes of play.
Under the direction of first-year head coach Chris Brooks, Jaeger and the Pointers advanced to the Peters Cup Championship Game as the No. 4 seed before falling to eventual national champion St. Norbert College. The Pointers finished the season with a 14-11-4 record.
