Karl Keppner

Wenatchee, WA

On June 26, 2012, we lost our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and best friend to cancer. Our beloved Karl Keppner is now with the Lord in peace. Karl was a dedicated husband and father and the perfect grandfather any child could have ever been blessed of having in their lives. He was an amazing man to say the least.

Karl was a Navy Veteran and a retired Deputy Sheriff with Grant County. In his prior years, he was also a Deacon with the Mormon Church and a school teacher. On his vacation time, he loved to crop dust and drive wheat combine in the Grant County area. His love for his family always came first. As we children grew up into our own lives and had our own children, he was always there to lend a loving and helping hand with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taking them fishing, showing them how to work in the garden, many Dairy Queen trips for fun and a wonderful nanny when we needed help with child care. There is no person on the earth who could ever be missed more than he is by all of us right now. This wonderful man taught us all the meaning of compassion and love. He taught us to stand on our own and be able to fix anything that was broken. He loved to tinker and fix everything.

Pops, you are so loved and will be truly missed in our hearts on a daily basis. We were so blessed to have had you in all of our lives.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Telford’s Chapel of the Valley. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Care of NCW. Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
