(Manson, WA) Sheriff Brian Burnett reports on September 16th at about 4:24 A.M., Rivercom received a 911 call from a Manson woman reporting that a male subject had broken into her home.  She stated she wasn’t sure how the male got into the residence, but her husband was holding the suspect at gunpoint in their living room as the suspect sat in a chair.

The suspect, later identified as 26 year old Brendan Gallacher of Lynnwood, was arrested for Criminal Trespass 1st Degree without incident by Sheriff Deputies.  Gallacher was reportedly highly intoxicated and his clothing was covered with dirt.  Deputies questioned him, but he didn’t know where he was or how he got there.

The homeowners were alerted to the intruder when they heard their dog growling and barking in the living room area.  The homeowner told Deputies he didn’t think Gallacher was attempting to steal anything and he didn’t know him nor did he have permission to be in his residence.  It is unclear how Gallacher arrived at the residence, but it is believed he entered through an unlocked rear door.  Nobody was injured during the incident.
