(Moses Lake, WA) Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for two men they believe stabbed another in the Upper Basin Homes section near Moses Lake.

Around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 26, Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Samaritan Hospital to see Keith M. Ford, 29, of Moses Lake. Ford claimed around 7:30 p.m. he was walking on Lybbert Drive Northeast near Airway Drive Northeast when he was confronted by two Hispanic males riding bicycles. During the confrontation, one of the suspects asked Ford, “Hey Homey. Where you from? Do you bang?” This statement leads deputies to believe this incident was gang-related.

A brief struggle and fight ensued, during which Ford stated he felt a pain in his right arm. The struggle continued until both suspects got back on their bikes and rode away.

It wasn’t until later that Ford discovered the pain in his arm was actually two stab wounds, and Ford went to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment. The wounds were not life threatening and Ford was treated and released after speaking with deputies.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males. One suspect is in his early 20s, of medium build, with short black hair, wearing tan khaki pants and a black hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect was in his early 20s, bald, thin build, wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this assault should call the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, 509-762-1160, or send information to [email protected]. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
