Roxann Rogene “Roxy” Miller, 47, a six year East Wenatchee resident and a former longtime resident of Chelan and Clinton, Montana, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Highline Care Center in East Wenatchee, following an extended illness.
She was born on November 2, 1964 at Chelan, Washington to Robert Dean and Vernis Geraldine “Trudy” (Saulsbury) Pauli. She grew up and received he education in Chelan. She met and was later married to Scott Miller in Chelan, where they made their home together. She worked as a waitress in Chelan prior to moving to Clinton Montana in the mid 1990’s. She worked as a housekeeper and in maintenance at the Rock Creek Lodge in Rock Creek, Montana prior to going to work at the Double Tree Inn in Missoula. While at the Double Tree, she received the “Pride and Spirit Award” from the Hilton Hotel Group, which consisted of a expense paid trip for two to Disneyland. She continued to make her home in Clinton, Montana until moving to East Wenatchee in 2005.
Roxy enjoyed hiking, fishing, gardening, inner tubing and any outdoor activity. She also collected rocks and gems, liked to cook, can jams, arts and crafts and the game of Yahtzee.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Miller, Bonner, MT and Russell Miller, Clinton, MT; her father, Robert “Bob” Pauli, Sorrento, Florida; 6 brothers and sisters, Rachelle “Shelley” Shannon, Waseca, MN, Ronda (Mike) McCallister, East Wenatchee, Randy Pauli, Wenatchee, Robin (Joe) Farley, Billings, MT, Russ (Keri) Pauli, Moses Lake, WA and Angie Hancock, Evansville, IN and two grandchildren, Desiree Buerish, Bonner, MT and Elijah Miller, Clinton, MT. She was preceded in death by one son, David Miller in 2007, her mother, Vernis “Trudy” Hollingsworth in 2011 and her sister, Lisa Pauli in 2009.
