Sheriff Deputies investigating man’s death in rural Quincy

(Quincy, WA) Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies today are investigating the death of a man near Quincy.

Around 9:20 a.m., Deputies responded to the 8000 block of County Road K-Northwest after a man was found dead inside a home. The death was not witnessed, and a firearm was found at the scene.

The Grant County Coroner has custody of the body and will determine cause and manner of death, as well as release the man’s identity once next of kin have been notified.

At present, this death appears to be a suicide, but the case will remain open until the Coroner completes his investigation and makes his official ruling.
